help with re-training my dog in potty training?

I have a 4 year old lab. She sustained an injury to her leg and can’t go up and down stairs. We live in an upstairs apartment and this presents a problem. I have built a litter box for her with grass out on the porch. The problem I am having is getting her to use it. She refuses to use the box. Any ideas or tips on potty training a 4 year old lab?
