I never knew what breed my cat was cause I got her when I was like 11 or 12. And I’d like to know what breed she is. Well when I got her I heard about her being a turquoise cat or something..? So than I named her Tory. But to me she looks like an Egyptian Mau cause I’ve never heard of a turquoise cat lol only when I bought her. But what do you think?

No. Egyptian maus are truly spotted. And it was ‘tortoise’ colored, which refers, I believe to the pattern of her coat.
Here’s some pics of Egyptian maus:

You were probably told that she was a tortie (tortoise shell). It is the name of her color, and a variant of calico. The color is the product of a sex linked gene that causes patches of both gray/black and orange all over the body. The vast majority of these individuals are female, and to see a calico male is extremely rare. I have not heard of a male calico that was not steril though. Most likely, she is not an egyptian mau. the breed is a bit rare, and rather on the expensive side. She does have some characteristics of the breed, but I have never heard of a tortie colored one. They are supposed to be extremely spotted and almost wild in appearance. Her ears have the positioning on her head of one, but that is really the only characteristic I can see from the pictures.
