How to train a cat use litterbox properly?

I have one cat who always urinates on the carpet, and one cat who doesn’t cover after herself.

    LOL, my mother had a cat that wouldnt cover after herself, so my cat would go over there and do it for her……

    I cant help you though, my cat covers, but it takes her like 5 minutes to do it.

    depending on how old the cat is

    i usually show them the litterbox, put their feet in it and then i leave it alone and it works like a charm

    you can’t. cats are born knowing how to (in dirt).
    maybe that cat that urinates on the carpet is upset because the other cat doesn’t cover her stuff. i recommend seperate litter boxes !!!!!

    i just try to get it used to going on (doggie) paper,
    then i put the paper in the kitty litter and after a bit
    i take it away i hope it works say hi to your kitty for me bye

    well my cat knows where the litter box is but if he uses it once he wont use it again which really sucks when im at work cuz like yours he pees on the carpet. i bought this plug in air freshner from the vet and it is suppose to repel cats from that area and then i bought this pray that does the same thing and put that on the carpet and it really worked! Talk to your vet to see if they have these products

    ANY CAT IF YOU SHOW THEM THE LITTLE BOX AND YOU REWARD THEM FOR USING IT THEY WILL GO THERE AND NO WHERE ELSE I HAVE A DOMESTIC CAT AND A STRAY CAT THAT I BROUGHT IN OFF THE STREETS AND HE USES THE LITTLE BOX JUST FINE
