My cats knocked over my brand new budgies cage, is she now ruined for training?

I thought the cage was secure but i guessed wrong, i am going to secure her cage on the wall so there will be no more interaction between the cats. Will my one cat ever get over the fact that she is a new member of the family?

Your cat isn’t doing it because it’s jealous. It’s doing it because it is a cat, and hey look! there’s a bird.

probably not ! The cat is folowing her hunting instinct! Gangerous combination to have in the house , bird and cat! Even with the cage on the wall the cat can jum onto the cage!

Cats will go after any small creature, especially one that flutters around. You can not, and will not, train a cat to go against it’s very nature. If you want your birdies to be safe then find a way to keep them away from the cat…or give the cat to someone who understands these animals. Cats are not community animals. It’s all or nothing with them. I am feeling pity for the cat.
