Beagle versus Parson Russell Terrier versus King Charles Spaniel?

We are interested in getting a new dog. Does anyone have a Beagle and/or a Parson Russell Terrier and/or a King Charles Spaniel? Can you tell me the advantages and disadvantages to the breed you have please.

AKC.org has links to reputable breeders. I suggest you try contacting the breeders. They are generally happy to talk with you honestly about the true aspects of the personalities and disadvantages of each. No reputable breeder is going to try to “sell” you on their breed. Personally, I’ve owned boxers my whole life, but I am a vet tech: beagles NEVER stop barking, russells NEVER stop jumping(I pet sit 10-year-olds that still jump about 5 feet straight up in the air almost all the time), KCS’s seem pretty mellow, but I’ve only met a few.

Rescue. Please check petfinders.com They will not only help you find the right breed but the one with the personality you need. Beagles really aren’t bad not my breed of choice. Needy and escape artist but very patient with children and other animals. Terriers are Terriers. Rather staf or Russel
