Best dog breeds that can survive in the Philippines?

We’re moving back home and we’re planning to get a dog. I prefer small breeds. NO ASKALS please! I also want a dog that is not hard to find.
I meant a breed that is easy to find. I don’t want a rare breed.

Do you mean the ones that do not taste very good?

If you want him not hard to find then put him on a chain or inside a fence. Mostly all dogs in Philippines are survivors so any one of those should meet your strict criteria.

I have friends in the Philippines that raise Chihuahuas
Dr. Paul Pineda DVM for one. I know it gets hot there..and Chihuahuas like it hot .

i see a lot of small breeds surviving well and healthy. you can contact philippine canine club, inc (which i am member of) at 63-2 7218345 for legitimate breeders of any breed or you can either go to tiendesitas in ortigas extension cor c-5 or cartimar in pasay and choose the dogs you want…mostly with pedegree.
i have pure bred german shepherd puppies that will be available in the next couple of months, if you like.

no askals? but they are the native residents. they are built and engineered for maximum longevity in the philippines. all they need is love.
